Undefeated heavyweight prospect Federico Pacheco Jr. delivered a statement performance with a fourth-round stoppage to continue his rapid rise through the division, headlining the Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation Boxing Event on May 20.

The 22-year-old South Central Los Angeles native continues to establish himself as one of the heavyweight division’s most promising young talents, using his power and ring presence to stay perfect early in his professional career. Signed with Golden Boy Promotions in early 2025, Pacheco made his promotional debut in March at Fantasy Springs, earning a unanimous decision over Arnulfo Cazares before returning just two months later to defeat Calvin Barnett on the Darius Fulghum vs. Bektemir Melikuziev undercard at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

The younger brother of undefeated super middleweight contender Diego Pacheco, Federico has also gained valuable high-level experience despite a limited amateur background, sparring with elite heavyweights such as Zhilei Zhang, Frank Sanchez and Arslanbek Makhmudov during his development.
